Taster workout with 3Fs Personal Training in Brighton and Hove

Before the workout I will put you through a head to toe joint mobility warm-up, with a pulse raiser to prepare your body. After the workout, I’ll cool you down and stretch you out to reduce the risk of delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). I never cut corners, so please don’t ask me to.

Introduction to circuit training in a high intensity interval training style (HIIT)

8 exercises, 20 seconds each, 15 seconds rest between each, 1-minute rest at the end. Circuit repeat 4 times:

  • Knees into hands
  • Kettlebell goblet squats
  • Reverse lunges
  • Lateral raises
  • Upright rows
  • Biceps curls
  • Triceps dips
  • Roll-outs

Benefits: Full body workout cardio to burn fat, strength to tone and build muscle. Great for indoors and outdoors. Whole body approach.

Introduction to kettlebells

8 exercises, 20 seconds each, 15 seconds rest between each, 1-minute rest at the end. Circuit repeat 4 times:

  • Double-handed swings
  • Slingshot left
  • Slingshot right
  • Single arm deadlifts
  • Halo
  • Goblet squats with push ups
  • Arnold press
  • Russian-twists

Benefits: Works just about every muscle in your body, great for core strength, builds muscle, tones and cuts fat. Great for indoors. Whole body approach.

Battleropes training

Introduction to battle ropes – outdoors or private gym only

8 exercises, 20 seconds each, 15 seconds rest between each, 1-minute rest at the end. Circuit repeat 4 times:

  • Single arms
  • Double arms
  • Side-to-side
  • Circles
  • Single arm in a press up position left
  • Single arm in a press up position right
  • Burpees into double arm slam-down
  • V-sit twists

Benefits: Burns fat, builds muscle, supercharges your cardio. Great for outdoors; garden, patio, park or by the beach! Whole body approach.
